    httpd.conf file....

    hi

I have been trying to run PHP with Apache without anysuccess. The last suggestion that I got was that I should get the httpd.conf file from a person who is actually running PHP on Apache in the windows2K environment.

So, if there is anyone who could send me his/her httpd.conf file I will be very grateful.

    Thanks.

    P.S. I am using Apache 1.3 and PHP4 under windows 2000 professional.
    Best Regards,

    Usman.

Can you post the lines you added to your httpd.conf? We should be able to tell you what the error is

    Hi,
    I attached a copy of my httpd.conf, 1.3.27, ( I'm under win2000pro and I'm using php4 ).

I also attach a copy of my hosts file (renamed to hosts.txt just to allow the attachment).

The path of the hosts file was:
    c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

    I installed apache under:
    c:\usr\local\apache

    php was under:
    c:\usr\local\php

    I have two hosts
    example.net
    and
    example.com

    Hope it helped,
eventually do not hesitate to ask .

    thank you,
    andrea

    p.s.
mine is a httpd.conf for laboratory

    ... if I were a betting man I would suggest ..

    moving / copying
    c:\php\php4ts.dll
    into
    c:\php\sapi\php4ts.dll

    and restarting apache.
