I suggest the best method e-mail marketing is marketing products and services over the internet. E-mail marketing covers many areas and can be very easy or complicated. Actually, all things depend on your IT expertise or the price that you are ready to expend on your e-mail marketing effort.

At MochaHost we are using Mailchimp for newsletters and all the rest of the email marketing. It is a good idea to use paid service since you are getting detailed statistics on how your campaigns perform, plus getting a good delivery rate. You can then experiment with different subjects and content and find your best formula. Email marketing can be very, very profitable if you set it up right. If you consider purchasing lists. Make sure you buy only from large companies, to avoid getting ripped off. Also, have in mind that you can negotiate to price a lot. Giving you the emails doesn't cost anything to them so usually you get them for a way lower price than what they initially ask for.

E-mail marketing and email-remarketing are great tools for get in touch with loyal clients, but it probably will not be an effective technique to attract the new ones. I agree that no one read numerous e-mails that look like spam.

Does we give preference or read the email in our inbox? Of course we haven't time for this. But now a days Email marketing is very good source to convey the message or introduce the product or selling it. So we must create the email like that don't bother the receiver and it must be brief and valuable one so he would become the subscriber.

Email marketing is directly marketing a commercial message to a group of people using email. In its broadest sense, every email sent to a potential or current customer could be considered email marketing. It usually involves using email to send ads, request business, or solicit sales or donations, and is meant to build loyalty, trust, or brand awareness. Email marketing can be done to either cold lists or current customer database.

As mentioned by seomarket, email marketing is only ideal in retaining interested visitors/customers, but not in acquiring new customers. That being said, retaining loyal customers is also an essential aspect of online marketing. Email marketing has continued to prove its effectiveness throughout the years, and the main reason for that is the fact that the inbox is a particularly personal environment, which makes the conversion rate on email marketing pretty high.

However, since your visitors have given you the permission to "talk to them" directly through emails, you have a responsibility to send them quality, high value content. Don't fall into the trap of sending soulless promotional emails, which makes you no different from a spammer. You might end up chasing away your most loyal customers if you are not careful with the way your emails are crafted.

Here's a great link to get you started on email marketing: http://www.copyblogger.com/email-marketing/

    Hope that helps!

Email marketing is great for retention.

Make sure you have exclusive content and promotions for your list, don't spam them by sending too many emails, it's cool to send them a survey from time to time to better understand their experience of your marketing.

And of course, the list is the only thing you own (after your website), nobody can take it away from you, not Google nor Facebook. It's yours to keep and nurture.

Yeah, Email marketing is great to interact with the audience and call them as well as convert them to customers. You know..? I got around 5 - 10 people opted in my mailing list everyday, so I got 200 - 300 people a month. I sent the new post weekly and if 10 will buy my product, so I could make 2 - 3 a months and earn $50 - $100 a months with Email marketing..
