    Help me identify this typeface!

Please help me identify the font of this button. I need to change the domain name to .ORG, and I want it to match the rest of the graphics on my site. I also need to know so I can modify the flyers on my site. I asked my Graphic Design teacher, and he thought it was helvetica condensed bold, so I used that, but it doesn't quite match up. Notice the "C" is a little more curved in the second one. Also, the "D" in the first one is a little more slanted.

You can see it has sharper angles than Helvetica. I'll have a look and try and find you a match...

    Futura Bold Condensed.

Kind of Ironic that the "widescreen advocate" would use "condensed" fonts for advertising.

    See attached.

Hmmm... been through all my fonts (well, all the ones active in ATM anyway... we've got thousands so I can't go through them all!)

The closest I could find was Trade Gothic, but I don't think it's quite right. Just activated Futura and had a look and it's definitely very close... the right cut might do it. Futura BT was what I was looking at. There's also an Adobe version.

Thanks for the help. I don't have Futura on my machine, but I preveiwed it on a web site, and it looks very close. I think the C and the S are just slightly more curved than the original graphic, but I may go with that if I can't find anything closer. Anyone know where I can get that font? For instance, did it come with a program that you have?

Go here and type Futura in the Quick Search box. It'll give you several different cuts.
