    highighting a div container's text.

    I've got a quirky problem going on.

    I've got a site set up with a basic nav div block on the left, with a much larger content div block on the rest of the page with CSS styles. On certain pages, however, highlighting and selecting text in the content block with IE (6.0) gets weird, while on other pages it's fine. I've never had any problems with Opera, Mozilla, Netscape, or even an older version of AOL I still have installed on my PC.

    The oddest part is that all of the pages use the same external stylesheet for defining the two div blocks.

    Here's the code for the contact block, which is the only place where I have problems:

    Code:
    div#content {
     position: absolute;
     visibility: visible;
     height: auto;
     width: 70%;
     left: 25%;
     top: 10px;
     right: 5%;
     bottom: auto; }
    Any clues on why the quirk occurs, or how to fix it? Or merely another bug Microsoft loves to plague us with?

    Could you paste the link to the whole page?

    Sure, it's:

    That page isn't finished HTML-wise, but the CSS is what's causing the problem (I think), so it shouldn't matter. Just please ignore the ugliness for now.

    IE/Windows has trouble selecting the text of absolutely positioned elements. Other browsers deal with it just fine. I don't think there's a workaround or fix for this.
