    font-size and other css optimization

    hi All,

    i have an html page and its css friend. i am trying to come up with the best possible way this css can be written with minimal amount of css code and best compatibility with latest standard-compliant browsers. in particular, i care about the font-size being consistent across ALL divs, tables, etc. are there any problems with my usage of "inherit" ?

    any advice on how to improve this css would be greatly appreciated!

    the page and the css are at: http://www.freelancedeveloper.org/my.html

    Try using a body element in your style sheet. That will set all the font-size, background, color, etc...

    Here is an example of one my sheets:

    PHP Code:

    body
    {

    margin0px

    padding0px;

    font-familyarialverdana,  helveticasans-serif;

    background:#999999;

    color#000000;

    }

    a.nav:linka.nav:visited
    {

    text-decoration none;

    color #fff;

    font-weightnormal;
    }

    a.nav:hover
    {

    color #0141eb;

    text-decoration none;

    backgroundtransparent;
    }

    a.nav:active
    {

    text-decoration none;

    color #0141eb;

    I hope this helps a little.
