Hello.
I was wondering if there were any good sites that gave out good clip art, but more importantly stock photos.
Or are there any good and cost effective CD Roms that offers a wide varity of images?
It's kind of a broad question![]()

I use and recommend IMSI MasterPhotos 75,000 (http://www.masterclips.com)...

Maybe try:
http://www.tonystone.com or
http://www.photodisc.com

Well, Keith beat me to my 2 favorites...
Try http://www.corbis.com as well

"Art Today" combines clip art, fonts AND photographs. This is a membership site but often has limited specials where you can access the entire site for free...which is going on now!
...As of today 11/7! "FREE 3-Day Trial membership with immediate access to more than 1,200,000 images, photos, fonts, and sounds"
You will need to join to access all the categories after that (usually can only download for free the web graphics) -- but their membership price is reasonable...

I recommend ComStock at http://www.comstock.com - rights-protected and royalty-free images in a variety of categories. Searchable by keyword and title.

http://www.istockphoto.com offers 100% royalty free (yes, you don't have to pay) images, all of high quality. Obiviously their range is slightly limited, but it's better than nothing ! Can anyone recommend any other free photo sites ?
Cheers
James

You can also check out http://www.photostogo.com which has a searchable index of royalty-free photographs. A lot of their photos are of specific scenes and places, not too much on characters or concepts. What photos they do have are quite nice though, and smaller images are downloadable for free.

Excuse my ignorance, but royalty free does not mean you don't have to pay, correct? I mean, there are royalty free images that you must still pay for, but typically they are low one time fees and not re-occuring fees (ie: royalties) Yes?offers 100% royalty free (yes, you don't have to pay) images,

Youre right, i worded it badly. They are 100% free.
