How to create the macromedia menu

    hi,

Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial to create the horizontal navigational menu in the macromedia website:

    www.macromedia.com

I haven't been able to learn how to make a menu so that the menu items appear horizontally below the first layer.

Are there any components or smart clips that do the same thing?

    Thanks,
    Iceman

If you mean the row of buttons along the top, it's very easy. Make each link a Button. Then make a movie clip with the sub-menu for each button in a different frame. Then in each main button's onRollOver event handler, make the menu movie clip gotoandstop on the appropriate frame for that button. If you want fades and such there are easy ways to slap those on top without changing the way the menu is done.
