    Good Flash Book

I am after a good flash book. I'm not a begginer in flash, I can roughly do tweening alpha stuff, object manipulation, a little bit of action scripting.

I am after a book to meet the following requirements...
    > Cover semi basic stuff in a little detail
    > Offer lots of inspiration in terms of ideas/effects etc...
    > maybe a few full project walkthroughs on how they were made
    > Go into Actionscript in an easy to moderate way
    > maybe have a reference for action script commands
    > No be an advanced book for flash experts!!!

I am currently reading the Hillman Curtis book - Making the Invisible Visible and I love it, i love the style!

I have come up with one so far ->
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...373551-2522028

    Can anyone suggest any others?!

    Cheers

I liked the book co-written by Jobe Makar called Flash MX ActionScript : Training From the Source : Advanced Actionscript

The name is a bit misleading. He assumes you know nothing but want to learn a lot of key aspects. The accompanying CD has MANY projects and works well along with the book's step-by-step instructions

    Hey

Colin Moock's book - ASDG2 - (moock.org) is great for learning ActionScript and as a reference. also the online ActionScript dictionary from MM.

For design/layout in Flash I suggest getting your hands on one of the Friends of Ed books if they are available.

Hillman Curtis' book is one of the few pieces out there that reflect on both process for the new media designer and the author's personal experiences. It's not something that will teach Flash, though.

    Cheers
    James
