Okay, someone told me earlier today that the effect on the flash portion of www.eonline.com was a mask, but I have no idea where to start or how to do it. I have the images all set up but I don't know how to do the mask. Could someone help?
Without looking up info in the Flash MX documentation, the short n sweet is that you create a layer, and any shapes created (fills, whether solid or using transparency) will show through as masks to the layer objects below them when you right click on the layer the shapes are in and select MASK.
You can then drag layers under the masking layer to add them to the objects masked.
