PHP/MySQL querries

Does anyone know of good tutorials/links for writing querries in PHP?

Do you have myPHPadmin on your server? I started out making queries via that interface - wysiwyg - and then copying the output (query string) into my PHP code after I knew the query executed without errors. Other than that, I use the docs or Google for specific problems.
