    Kazaa Lite

I've got to say it - wow!!

I used to use Kazaa but hated how bogged down, spy-wared, and bloated it was. Kazaa Lite is excellent and even comes with extra programs which - get this - I actually WANT to use.

I especially love the extra file source capabilities for faster downloads. Anyone know if you have to keep SpeedUp running for that?

Are you using the K++ version or just Kazaa Lite?

Hm... the About section says K++ Edition. Didn't even know there were two. What's the difference?

BTW Lite isn't spyware. Kazaa is, though.

K++ was a break off from the Kazaa Lite code... A lot of people think the two are the same while K++ has a lot of features that K Lite doesn't (master cheat).

I decided to go do some more research on Kazaa Lite and K++.

From reading a lot of the K++ sites, most of the regular Kazaa Lite versions have been completely weeded out and replaced by K++. There are only a few regular Kazaa Lite downloads left anywhere...

Yepp. Only problem if finding movies which actually ARE what they say they are. A search for The Matrix Reloaded turns up hundreds with that title - but actually contain Behind Enemy Lines, The Matrix (1), Porn (yepp, porn), Scarface... you name it.

Yeah, what I really hate downloading stuff that's not labeled properly. (Like when they say it's Dave Matthews band, but it's really Blues Traveler...?) Causes problems in the music video area, too. They aren't always music vids...

    What is "master cheat", btw?

I downloaded 20 copies of the Matrix Reloaded from Kazaa. All were fake.

I found a new file sharing app though, and it has ALL real movies. YOu get banned if you have fakes.

I must say that I am extremely happy with K++ version of Kazaa Lite. It seems to download files much much faster than the previos versions. Plus the new added features are great! However, I do get annoyed with all of the bogus files out there.
