The problem with using Windows is that it makes using any browser other than IE a pain! I tend to put up with IE though I have Mozi too for testing and for when I'm just browsing and not opening links form email, etc...

I've pretty much gotten it so it works as well as IE. Pretty much.

If I hit my Internet button on the keyboard while a folder is selected it'll still replace that folder with an IE browser (how annoying!)

Firebird for me - default browser.

There are problems with sites that seem to use MS technology, like some registration webpages of my uni's.

MozFirebird is my main Linux browser. I love it.
I'm starting to use it a lot for Windows, too (Mozilla 1.4 is my default Windows browser).

Firebird has been my main browser for about a month and a half. Kicks the hell outta IE and even Moz 1.3. I just wish I didn't have to go through the hassle of deleting it and my profile just to try out a newer build. And I wish I could select it as my internet link in the XP Start menu (currently I have Mozilla).

Now if all the web developers would start writing standards complient code/testing in Moz/FB instead of the now outdated IE.

ED, you can set it as your default. In FB preferences set it as the sys default, and if your Internet link doesn't change, remove it (right-click) and drag a new shortcut onto the start button.

I am using Firebird on my system (recently Windows Free). Only wish I could find a XFT version that runs on RedHat 8. Though I might upgrade to 9.0 over this week.

I like it. The only problem I have with it is that it can't catch links from Outlook like Netcaptor.

Catch links, as in you can't click on a link through Outlook?

Sure you can. Set it as your system default browser (Firebird options) and your'e set.

Nope. Don't think I will either. Doesn't have any Personal Information Management built into it. I kind of like having my calendar, todo list, and PDA synchronization all in one program.

I have been using Evolution by Ximian. I don't think they have a Windows Port though.

Fantastic program (as is Outlook, Evolution's free though ). I've heard that they have it connecting to exchange server OK now?

Yes. I love it. Still very clunky and slow to respond, but I'm impressed, considering it's pre-alpha.

So... Now I'm using firebird... Just been using it for five minutes and three sites, but it's promising...

Are there any possibility for the in-browser tabs?

    ctrl "t"

Or install the mouse-gestures plug-in (a must for me), and right-click - move "up".
