yep PayPal went international - i just signed up - http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...ntries-outside
Although non-US paypal users aren't eligible for the US$5 bonuses

They have very strict verification for non-US users - my credit card needs to go through a verification procedure

For what will you use it? Obviously, you will use it to pay people money online, but under what circumstances? I'm trying to think of how I could make use of this.

well besides paying people, you can be paid or receive money from people i signed up for a premium account since i plan to be using the receiving credit card funds and the standard account limits that to US$500 per month. Premium account has no limits and is or will be great for merchant like services for a product etc.

    It's about time!

Everyone at YAHOO, AMAZON, EBAY etc have been switching to using Paypal to sell things and that has cut non-US people out of the equation until now.
