HI, if anyone has done their own Affiliate program, or has any good ideas for a third party one to use please let me know. I am trying to start one for my site in my signiture, I think it would do well for everyone, I have researched how much other magazine sites pay and I would pay 25%-35% I am just working on that now, to affiliates>

I have already looked into CJ, and linkshare, but they take a lot!

Yeah, if you use 3rd party, they obviously take quite a bit!
Another one you could dig in is: http://www.clickxchange.com
I've seen many independent affiliate program. But you have to make your affiliates believe that the tracking system is reliable.

If you want to adminster your own program I highly recommend http://www.theaffiliateprogram.com, not as expensive as going through a 3rd party network like cj and linkshare but it will mean more work for you.

If you would like to start out with a cheaper option and have full control over your affiliate program, I highly recommend www.groundbreak.com

It is one of the most full-featured programs on the net and once you purchase it, it is yours to use over and over again!!!

You can set up pay-per-click, replicating or pay per sale up to three tiers.

    Stan is a great programmer.
