    how come these keep appearing....

    I mihgt have a file called php.php and it will automatically make a php.php.bak aswell ??

    What r these ?

    What editor are you using? Some editors automatically create these as backups for the files you open in them. There shold be a setting to turn the feature off. Last editor I used that did that was 1-4-all is that what you are using?
