Sorry, I just realised the irony of classaction and movabletype - one helps individuals with questions related to class actions (possibly plagiarism) the original is a "decentralized, web-based personal publishing system". .. that is freely downloadable !?!?

I've had this site bookmarked for awhile now, amazing really what people think they can get away with. Some sites set some standards that maybe have a few ideas interpreted by other sites but you'll get this in any industry, if someone comes up with a good idea, another company will modify it and use it in there own products but some of this is just a one for one copy.

The rip looks even worse than the original Sitepoint site.
I've seen that site a few times.. I just wish more people knew about it, and even more submitted plagerized sites. I've seen quite a few sites listed there that have ended up changing their layouts.
Looks like the site is working in ... containing... the plagerism.. just hope their "new" layouts aren't copied either.

You should see how many people have ripped off davinci.
It's one thing to get an idea from someone's work and be influenced by it, maybe ever try to reproduce something similar... But just to outright steal it is wack to the max.

You really gotta thank the people who are out there, saw the rips, and reported them for public humiliation in the first place. Web surfers like you are I, coming across sites that "ring a bell" in design.
I submited a site or 2 to PS.com, hopefully it'll show up in the next "installment" of rips.
it sure is a good nudge for copying sites., i once sent a url of copy of hostrockets there but they somehow didn't list it there.. and i dont remember the url now !
