    But When clicking this thread it shows invalid link specified,I think its posted by a spammer..hmm

    It was a bot spammer which was dealt with very quickly.

    I think the more concerning part is that the spammer created a *global* thread. Isn't that feature supposed to be reserved for admins or super moderators?

    Yes, thats what lead me to believe it was hacked.

    It wasn't a case of being hacked, there was in a setting that had got changed when we made the switch to a newer version of vBulletin. Because up until now we hadn't had any spammers try that trick, we didn't realise that there was anything wrong. That should be sorted now, and we've got a whole raft of anti-spam measures that we'll be bringing on board soon so that we'll be better prepared when the next attack comes.

    Hacked again?? When there will be a prevention from hackers. It is really very bad that spammers do these things.
