    Very short question about Konqueror

    I'm not sure it there's anything that can be done about this or not, but basically I've written a web interface to IRC, as people talk it scrolls down the chat window so the latest line of text is visible, to do this, I'm using the following cheap+nasty function

    function sm()
    {
    top.frames[0].scroll(0,10000);
    }

    This is called as an onLoad on a single pixel image at the end of each line of text.

    Which works in Opera, Netscape, IE, Mozilla, and Galeon. Konqueror just doesn't respect it at all though and although not really a big deal, it would be great to have it perform the same in every browser

    Any ideas why this wouldn't be working? Any alternatives I could try for anyone who might drop by using Konqueror?

    Thanks

    Konqueror is a great browser but it lags somewhat behind the others. You could try the developers site (http://www.kde.org/) and ask them nicely to do something about it perhaps in a future build.

    You could check if the browser is Konqueror, and if not, redirect to <self>#bottom, and have an <a name="bottom"> at the bottom. Might have to tweek that a bit, but it could work, I suppose..
