Had a hard time finding a suitable forum part for this question, but as it will (hopefully) be a php project this is where it ended.
Anyway, for some reason I woke up today with the urge to create an online link popularity checker. Sounds simple, you enter a domain name, and then the search will show you how many times the name is listed on the different search engines. Problem is, I've got no idea where to start. The php coding does seem simple enough, but I'm having a hard time understanding where I can get the info I'm looking for.
Anyone?
