Restoring the mysql database w user info etcetera
Don't ask... but I managed to delete the mysql database, yes the one with information about user accounts and passwords and stuff. So now I can't even log in as root.
Is it possible to restore it? I don't have a backup of those files (I don't have any backup).

That's not too good, but I'm quite sure it is gone for good now. Does your host perform backups? Might be an idea to ask them.

Thanks. I'm afraid the host does not perform backups. You see the whole thing is stored locally in my shiny G3.
Ah well guess I better uninstall it and make a new installation and I also guess I'd better start learning about backups.
