Getting the horizontal/vertical location of an image on screen

    Hello,

I am creating a database driven popup menu but am having trouble with the location of th epopups as the do not appear aligned with the butons they popup from.

Is there anyway of getting the horizontal and vertical location of an image? Preferably in PHP, but any other ways are welcome.

you can also use css if you are adverse to tables. php doesn't control placement on a site ... it merely extracts the data from your database and puts it in the layout you designed (using HTML / CSS).

I think Javascript could do the same thing as well. I am not sure exactly how it would be done, but I think posting something in the Javascript forum would be your best bet. Or even the CSS forums.
