I want to re register an old domain

one of my domains got expired on april 2013 but i forgot to renew it timely. The domain is still on hold and owned by me and it has been close to two months since it expired. The price of renewing the domain currently is very high. I just want to know how much time does it takes for the domain to be free for fresh registration. I have already waited for 2 months.

    Hi
I think this depends on the company from which you registered the domain.
Try talk with them, and it is posible they let you renew the domain for a smaller price.

Evaluate how much it will cost you to start again with a new domain, and weigh that up against the current price. There's every chance your domain will be registered by somebody else or an automated drop catcher when it goes back on the market if it has any traffic or value.

    Cool

The price of renewing the domain currently is very high.
    Define very high
Your domain provider changed prices or what ? Which is your domain name extension? Next time remember to use the service of auto-renewal
