    form redirect

    Hi all,
    Im using Flash to send form data to FormMail.pl. Here are the variables Ive used..

    redirect = "http://www.myurl.com/formsent.htm";
    recipient = "me@myurl.com";
    subject = "Message from website";

    Everything is working fine except that the page doesn't redirect.
    I know the FormMail.pl is working as I have set up an html form and it redirects correctly. Any ideas why the Flash form isn't working?
    Thanks!

    Are you relying on the browser or Flash to redirect the user? What you should do systematically is have Flash Trace those variables to make sure that it still has them at the right value (this done, of course, in design time and not run time)

    Also how are you sendin the variables? If you are using loadVariables or LoadVars() I do believe the redirect will happen internally with the script that is being accessed meaning the flash movie won't be redirected. You should use getURL or LoadVars.send()
