I am trying to use a program to convert my mysql database to access for a client.

I have found gobs of information on disabling networking (using the skip-networking option), but I cannot get it to allow it.

I commented out the line my my.cnf for skip networking and restarted the mysql service with no luck.

Anyone know of something else I need to do?
