    GD imagerotate() Help

    I'm using the GD image library to successfully resize images.

    But I have not yet been able to get the imagerotate() function working. The error is: Call to undefined function: imagerotate()

    At this point, I'm not certain if it is supported on my server and I'm having trouble finding my exact version of GD. Using phpinfo() I see that I'm using: PHP version 4.3.1 and GD is listed as "2.0 or higher".

    How can I learn my specific version of GD?

    thanks!

    PHP Code:
    if ( function_exists ('imagerotate') ) {

    // The function exists - use it
    } else {

    // The function is not available - tough luck

    That's a first-pass check anyway. However it would seem that the else clause of the above will be returned anyway, based on the error message you report.

    call to undefined function implies your builld doesn't support it or that your host has disabled its use.

    on a subnote: imagerotate was actually worked on by Rasmus Lerdorf himself (all hail) and not just Thomas Boutell and co.
    teckis - that's news to me.
