I got this flash interface thingy from a skillful flash master. But I think he made it incomplete on purpose to give me a challenge of some sort. I have no skills so if someone could help me that'd be awesome.

The .swf is here:
http://www.megspace.com/entertainmen...f/comics2.html but it doesn't work... it just scrolls and stuff.

I think the problem is somewhere in this code:
// ----------------------------------------------
// change the tmi to equal the # of comics
tmi = "22";
Menu0 = "1";
Menu1 = "2";
Menu2 = "3";
Menu3 = "4";
Menu4 = "5";
Menu5 = "6";
Menu6 = "7";
Menu7 = "8";
Menu8 = "9";
Menu9 = "10";
Menu10 = "11";
Menu11 = "12";
Menu12 = "13";
Menu13 = "14";
Menu14 = "15";
Menu15 = "16";
Menu16 = "17";
Menu17 = "18";
Menu18 = "19";
Menu19 = "20";
Menu20 = "21";
Menu21 = "22";
// add more Menu# for each comic added
// ----------------------------------------------
// path is the http where the #.swf are stored
path = "/";

Or the problem is:
// --------------------------------------------
// tmi=total menu items
// dup=new movie duplicates
// butn=original movie button
// --------------------------------------------
// FIX original Button:
butn:text = /:Menu0;
while (Number(n)<Number((/:tmi*2)-1)) {
n = Number(n)+1;
dup = "butn" add n;
duplicateMovieClip ("butn", dup, n);
setProperty (dup, _x, Number(getProperty(dup, _x))+Number(n*getProperty(dup, _width)));
setProperty (dup add "/b", _x, getProperty (dup add "/b", _x) );
set (dup add ":n", n);
// assign button name from variables
if (Number(n)<Number(..:tmi)) {
set (dup add ":text", eval("/:Menu" add n));
} else {
set (dup add ":text", eval("/:Menu" add (n-/:tmi)));
}
}

somewhere in there... If you looked at what was up on my site you would know that the only thing not working is the buttons that are created. I have no idea what to do... if you can help that'd be super.

btw, yes all the .swf's are in the same folder as the interface and they are numbered from 1 to 22 with the appropriate extensions.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
