    Please review my site.

    http://www.mad-onion.com

I basically want to know if you think the design is too bright.

It is not finished and the graphics are still to come but you get the idea.

Just some generic opinions please, and criticism if you think it is due

    hi

i have dsl and it seems to burp on the loading. need a slower 56k or 28k to take a look at the speed.

orange text on a white bg is not that readable.

    and it is bright.

    it does look good

i do like the menu area and the drop down feature.

more reviews....mad-onion has a nice page. easy on the eye .

First off I have a 56k modem connected at 26400 (dang didn't know it was that low now) and it loaded pretty fast, especially considering 26.4k. I like the colors and the logo looks pretty good too. One thing I think you should do is be consistant with the mouseovers. On the top they turn to underlines, in the main part they change colors and the navigation they do nothing. Of course you could be just testing to see what people think of them so I will give ya my vote for changing colors. I like the reverse treatment on the colors in the copyright/text links line. Looks like you have a great start on the site. Good luck!

    Hi,
I like the design. It's simple but nice. I use Netscape and the expandable menu on the left did not work. The first time I loaded the page it didn't even show up, then when it did I just got javascript errors. I don't think the colors are to bright, I like them!

    Thanks,
    Justin Sampson

    What can I say? It's quite...orange

That logo is interesting. You definitely have a unique domain name! Memorable, to say the least. I like your expandable navigation scheme. I'm really not certain what to say about the entire site since the links are down, but overall its a very attention-getting layout and design.

    Thanx so far,

The site is really targetted at IE 4+ users, on my old site (which was 90% universal) i had 96% IE 4+ users. So i thought i might as well ty and make a good page for them.

I suppose i will have to add a page explianing this if a visitor comes using netscape, or another non mosaic browser.

On that note is it true that Netscape (what vere version is next) is mosaic based. Hopefully this may start to bring some continuity between the major browsers.

By the way edshuck i have changed the colours of the main text's if you wouldn't mind telly me what you think of the new colours.

    Thanks
