    Hi Folks,

Here is my dilemna....My entire site is programmed in PHP3, however I need to figure out what do with my static index.shtml page. Is there a way to call php scripts into a index.shtml file? Or how could I make a .php3 act like my index page to my Web site? I would like to avoid setting up an index.html page with a meta tag redirect. I have read that pages containing redirects in their meta tags do not get indexed by many search engine bots....

    Thanks for any help...

I would also like to thank everyone that has answered my many questions in the past.....thanks for helping me make my site be so much more with a little database and php help!

For the second question, I would love to know too (making index.php as the default)
And the first one, include PHP in SHTML, you could use normall SSI and include virtual the php script into it.

For the second question about making index.php or index.php3 as the default index page. Create a .htaccess file with
    DirectoryIndex index.html index.php index.php3
and it put in the directory in question
Please don't PM me with questions.
Use the forums, that is what they are here for.
