    Question Drawing Icons in SVG

    Today I stumbled upon http://designmodo.com/flat/

At first I thought they are animated gifs, but then I realized they are actually drawn and animated SVG vectors. I wonder if anyone has an experience in making SVG illustration, is it a tedious manual job or there might be some SVG editors where I can draw and animate my shape and export as SVG?

You can save an Adobe Illustrator file in svg format. The animation in the link is created with css, not svg, right?
