    Hello, I need your help!. What I need to do with my website is allow users to enter keywords into a search field and select specific terms in multiple drop down menus to work together to find exactly what their looking for. Would you happen to know how I could do something like this, or if there are any websites that explain how to do this? or if there are any websites that sell software that does this?

    Thanks;

    Ryan

    Check out atomz.com, they offer remote-search
    And I think everyone.net also has that service.
    If you interest in in-site searching script, try hotscripts.com or cgi-resources.com

    Hope those help

    Yes, there are quite a lot of these free search utilities around and most of them do the job!

    Also, have a look at http://www.freefind.com

    Most of these will place some sort of free advert/button on your site but for the most part they are every unobtrusive.

    Not to plug them especially, but the ATOMZ search set-up is really quite good... a lot of flexibility and control that I haven't seen elsewhere on these types of tools. Not only that, they appear to actually *answer* their email.
