Dear members
Can you please review the site.
My main concern is the content. As a webmaster do you find the content to be useful? Will you come back to check it again? what other content do you wish to be there.
Ps. Please note that the content is very small at this time.

hi
first impression nice colors good balance welcoming
webmastershut.com gives a blank screen, not a 404 just blank.
the site itself is clean, straightforward.
i have no constructive comments, and no negatives.
now i take a look at view source.
why is this "700", why not 640 or 800. this condems the 640 croud to a horizontal scroll bar and the 800 to not using their entire screen.
i am on dsl so the 14k logo plus whatever else may make your site a bit slow to load. in any case, use a lot of caution when adding more graphics.
now a word about color. i would try to use the colorsafe colors a bit more. they are the hex 00, 33, 66, 99, cc, ff.

This website looks very promising and if you add more content to it you might have a hit.
I would come back and visit the web hosting section, you should maybe add customer comments on each review.
The affiliate section also looks good, I have been looking for a forum or reviews about affiliate programs. You could for example rate the programs CJ.com has, and show a top10 list of those who generate the most income for webmasters.
I recommend getting yourself vbulletin board or something similar instead of your message board.
Btw, who joins a mailing list which is not for free?
(suggest you remove that "FREE" !!!)

Vigfus Thor

there is no reason for that small of a logo to be 14k, you definately need to work on optimizing that sucker.
misspelling: "Free Web Applications
Add Fee Web Applications such as Guest Book to your web site. "
the layout is really good imo, i think you need a lot more content if you expect to compete with other webmaster resources out there. put up actual web building resources. html, jss, etc.

I really liked your site and O really abhor and hate your adverts. They are way to big and sigusting and animated. I can accept one, like the excite thing, but the other one is horrible. First of all, there is no such thing as 1500+ search engines, that's a lie lie lie. They just submit you to small, crappy link index. Your site looks bad with such affileates. The top banner is fine, though.

Loads extremely fast. The colors do not hurt the eyes but they are a little drab. May I suggest a light blue.Navigation is simple and easy to find. Good layout on the rest of the pages. Overall it is a very nice site. I just think the colors could be improved.
With some more content this will be a fantastic site. Deserves a bookmark

This site has great potential. However, having seen (and utilized) several sites like this one, you'll need a LOT more content to compete.
Layout is quite nice.
Navigation is easy.
Try to get a proofreader. As the designer, it's easy to be too close to your own work to see obvious errors. I noticed several spelling errors (and I'm a horrible speller).
Check out similar sites very thoroughly. I for one would be happy to see a resource site that offers something a little different. Accomplish that and I'll be there!
I agree with another evaluator that a good bulletin board (similar in look and feel to this one) would be worthwhile.
You've got a good thing going. Do more research...you can't do too much.

thanks guys for constructive comments.
1- So far I have got either, I love those colors. or What were you thinking.... kind
of comments about the colors. I personally like it so I keep it.
2- I agree I have no content at this time. I am adding new content as I find them.
I don't want to add any garbage that I find. I want the site to be a honest and
worthy resources for web masters.
3- The discussion board will be changed soon, I am using the
free board just to have something. I may opt for either UBB
of VB. does VB requires mySQL?

Overall it's pretty nice- percentage wise I would probably say 80%, with 100 being excellent.
Appearance: I always have been a big fan of having a left and right sidebar. I think that looked nice, and the ads on them don't really distract from the design, so that is good. I think maybe the color combinations could be better, I don't like the gold logo with the aqua. The logo could benefit from some alterations. Play around with the font and style, or do something graphical. To me, a site with a 'z' instead of an 's' in the name, isn't the most professional choice you could make.
Navigation: Well, your content is a little unorganized. I don't think you should have the have all of it in the middle, instead keep that space open for daily or weekly news updates. So people know when your site is updated. So, I definitly think you should consider putting those items in your side bar, probably on the left side before 'Other Resources'. Add probably add some more categories so the range in each one isn't as broad.
Anyway, good start!

I think this site will go far.
It is simple, good looking and easy to navigate.
with more content you may really find you have a winner of a site, although i still think that there are too many webdesign portals on the internet.
Nice simple design, pleasing to look at.
My only criticism is the way the logo (top-left) seems to almost merge with the banner ad. I think you need a buffer of some kind.SiteOptions >> Services :: Products :: Contact

After checking out the site and reading some of the posts I think I "would" definately change that logo. It needs to stand out more and grab the eye of the user before anything else. You want them to know where they are so if they want to come back they will remember. The logo (aside from the content) is a major part of any site. The way it is now it blends into the site too much and looks a bit flat. I'm not trying to be harsh but honest with you
So I would really think about that. Other than that the layout is conventional for a type of site like that and it looks like you have your load time nice and fast. Keep up the nice work but think twice about the logo. My 2 cents...
