Try HTML Tidy. It is capable of cleaning Word-documents. I'm not sure if it can handle the newer versions yet, though.

itsyM, thank, i did check HTML Tidy, it run under console, i think i need something more easy to use...

Macromedia's Dreamweaver has a button labelled something like "Clean up Word HTML"

There's an extension for Word which will allow you to save as cleaned up HTML... Let me see if I can find it...

DW MX and DW 4 support this but it's still buggy.
Also it's not support lists. [<li><ol> etc.]
In MX no need to extesion you can access directly from "Command" menu.
oh yes, i know the DW...but how about something FREE ?

The Microsoft addin does not work for Word 2002. I had the same problem as you so i created my own program ;-) Check it out, it will batch convert and clean. We have only released it, so I would appreciate any feedback.Originally Posted by Rikki
