Any program to clean up html file created by Microsoft Word 2002 ?

Anybody know any program to clean up the HTML file converted from Microsoft Word 2002 ? Please tell me where i can get it...thanks.

Try HTML Tidy. It is capable of cleaning Word-documents. I'm not sure if it can handle the newer versions yet, though.

Macromedia's Dreamweaver has a button labelled something like "Clean up Word HTML"

There's an extension for Word which will allow you to save as cleaned up HTML... Let me see if I can find it...

DW MX and DW 4 support this but it's still buggy.

Also it's not support lists. [<li><ol> etc.]

In MX no need to extesion you can access directly from "Command" menu.

No the word addin does not work in Word 2002.

Check out www.wordcleaner.com this program batch converts word files to HTML and cleans out all the tags. I use it and its brilliant, saves me a lot of time. Its also cleans up any HTML files not just word HTML.

The Microsoft addin does not work for Word 2002. I had the same problem as you so i created my own program ;-) Check it out, it will batch convert and clean. We have only released it, so I would appreciate any feedback.
