im doing a project for my msc multimedia and computing which is going to be to biuld a website for a company. Please could you tell me if i can put in any images of famous people, and any audio clips of mixes of their songs on a website i intend to do for a record shop business?
The more complicated answer depends necessarily on more info. Tell me more about who and what you were thinking of putting on.
There are some resources avial. that come to mind for photos of famous people (isyndicate.com provides free news and info - you'd be interested in is their free news photos (of famous people); such photos would be in the public domain and thus avail. for copying onto your site)
Copying song (even just snippets of songs) is problematic (remember that whole napster thing?).
Tell me and the users of this forum more maybe our combined minds can come up with some potential soulutions - where there's a will there's a [legal] way!
