For some reason I was thinking 18. During college I used to go there for the Comdex computer convention every year.

Yep...it's 21. but if your smart - you can still play if your under that...
I had a friend when I was in Reno (nevada...close to las vegas) who was playing slot machines to try and win one of those cars...well...he won the car, but when they came over to ask for ID - well...he was 15...so he didn't get the car. Man would that suck - to win but not be able to get the car...

In my hotel room when I was in Las Vegas there was a phamplet that said that the age was 18 to be inside a casino and 21 to actually gamble...

If there is an event that would attract a bunch of underage tourists, it is in their best interest to do this because they face stiff fines from the state if they allow underage gambling.

Of course, they always put the elevators (and restuarants) in the middle of the casino so you always get into fights with security.
Sigh.

Thats the idea. If you've ever watched one of those discovery on the inside casino shows you know what I mean. They purposely design them so you have to walk through the gambling (and not in the straight line either) to get to where you want to go and they try to make it hard to find your way out.
