    float, divs, rounded corners and mozilla

    quite a mix or problems!

    I have this page which is looking like it's supposed to in IE6, but seems to be having a few problems in Mozilla. Any ideas on why it's rendered that way?

    part 2) I would like to have rounded corners on the main div, i have set one as a background, but i'd like to align one on the other side - impossible without major changes?

    hope someone has a few more clues than I

    Platinum,

    I'm taking a look at your site right now. I'll take a look at your issues, but you need to specify a background color for your body. I have the default set to baby blue in IE and it's showing through instead of white.

    I'll be back with possible fixes.

    Plat,

    Here's the code I used. I tested and it works in IE6 and Phoenix 0.5:
    Code:
    .main {
    	background-image:  url('images/lcorner.gif');
    	background-repeat: no-repeat;
    	background-position: top left;
    	border-left: 5px solid #04203E;
    	border-right: 5px solid #04203E;
    	border-top: 5px solid #04203E;
    	height: 25px;
    	padding: 6px 10px;
    	height: 100%;
    	margin-bottom: 5px;
    		clear: both;
    		}
    #content {
    	float: left;
    	margin: 15px;
    	}

    #leftmenu {
    	float: left;
    	width: 261px;
    	background-image:  url('images/lmenubg.gif');
    	background-repeat: repeat-y;
    	background-position: right;
    	font-size: 9px; }

    .footer {
    	text-align: center;
    	font-weight: bold;
    	border-top: 1px solid #04203E;
    	padding: 5px;
    	clear: both;
    	}

    Thanks a ton Vinnie - but still no go
    i've attached a screenshot of what I see, this is with Moz. 1.3

    Screenshot here...

    This is a weird problem it works in NN6 fine... apart from the 'borders' in the main div which don't seem to extend down the page
