Best way to add media to website

Hi

I just bought a Firewire card and and am now able to download video from my digital camera onto my PC.

I want to be able to incorporate this video onto my website. What would be the best way of doing so.

Well...

Download VirtualDub and DivX. Run that video you have and compress it using DivX in VirtualDub. If you give it to anyone else, make sure they have that DivX codec.

DivX...hmmm...I'd rather stick with a standard codec. If you want to experiment, you can download a free, but slightly crippled, version of Real Producer www.real.com , windows media encoder http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...r/default.aspx and the basic version of quicktime http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/ and experiment.
