    Netscape not showing the CSS link colors I need

    IE seems to work fine with this page: http://www.hpiracing.com/buyhpi/kits/index.html but NN does not. Any clue why?

    This is the CSS I am using for the style sheet:
    Code:
    a:link {
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #ff6600;
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    a:visited {
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #ff9933;
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    a:hover {
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #ff9933;
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    a:active {
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #ff6600;
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    The null links show up as default underlined purple links and the hover color does not change the way it's supposed to. Of course, in IE it works fine and dandy!

    Any clues?

    Stop using html comments in your css.

    /* This is the correct way to comment css */

    Just in case you're not clear on the (in)validation returns...

    The font shorthand attribute requires at least two component values in order to validate.

    Code:
    font: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif
    ...won't validate as although their are several 'values', they are all from the same component (font-family).

    Your other declarations will validate fine as they have two component attributes (font-size and font-family).
    Code:
    font: 15px Verdana, Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
    --

    If the declaration will only be setting one component part of the font attribute, then don't use the shorthand font attribute.
