I am wondering how to have old pages become attached to the new template made and keep the old content of the old pages while getting the style of the new template.

Hi thanks for the reply, I have done those steps before. The outcome is that the template when applied on top of the old page/template the new template doesn't seem to override but just copies additional material into the old pages.
