    JS Newbie Question

    Ok, I'll probably get laughed at for this question but I'm really new to javascript and webdesign in general. I got a javascript code from reading around on sitepoint to make a window popup at a specific location and at a specific size. The problem I'm running into now is I can't remove the toolbar and scrollbars and excess stuff. I basically want the person browsing our website to click a link to find out about our shipping information, and I want it to popup a window at a specified size and location without all the extra fluff. Any help would be appreciated!

    well, somewhere in every popup script is a window.open() command. Window.open takes three paramters, or arguments. The 3rd argument specifies the new window's features. By default, the are all turned off (save width and height, which have values)

    window.open( 'somepage.htm', 'sometarget', 'width=300,height=300' );

    by not including any features (scrollbars, toolbar, menubar, etc) they won't appear on the newly created window.
