    take website down temporarily

    How do I take my website down temporarily? I need to go over some content issues. I have 2 wordpress sites in the website as well as the regular content.

    If you're running a wordpress, I've used this maintenance page plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/maintenance-mode/

    When activated, it will show a maintenance message to your visitors.

    Customization and you don't need to take the site down. It just makes it available to an admin only. display soon back page and site under construct
