Well, I've never tried the battles forum before, but I do need a creative diversion.. I'm trying to redo my site in php/mysql and can't concentrate well without ocassional artistic expression..Originally Posted by dunkindan

I'll submit mine within a week
you can use as much stock photos as you want too
OK-- can I ask that we change the rules JUST a tad? I don't know a lot about california life. I've only visited the place four or five times for less than a week at a shot, and then only as a tourist. Me, I'd rather use my own photography or at least a photo I have some personal connection to.What if we said instead the theme could be life in any city where we've lived?
And, about any size: can we actually specify a size? Say, default photoshop size of 5"x7" at 72dpi?
Hey good idea we can do city life, your location says las vegas so i figured youve seen a lot of california. lets do 500x600 pixels.

Ok here is mine, i did it in 16 mins in one of my classes....i dont like it at all.
I don't think its bad. But you've got plenty of time. I have been really sick for a couple of days, and because I wanted to use some of my own photography that means I haven't had a chance to go out and take new pics yet. I might use existing pics but I wanted to go for how I feel about Vegas now that I've lived her a while.
Okee dokee. Here's mine. I made it this morning from 2 photos I'd taken (the vegas strip and the desert) plus the dancers pic which I downloaded from inertia.
Doh! Well, I totally forgot about our posts where were were agreeing to "500x600" and instead remembered the one earlier where we said default photoshop size 5x7 at 72dpi.
So, I can redo the pic in the right size if needed, but I'd rather not worry about it if it is not a big deal to you.
