Shape tween a shape into text?

How do you do this. I want, for example. to make a simple square shape tween into the name, "Bryan". I fiddle with this, but it doesn't want to do it.

What needs to be done to get this to work.

you need to break appart your text first - Ctrl+B
that way Bryan "looks" like text but is actually an image and you can tween it
