Can anyone suggest a good chat software that we can add to our site. A free software would be great but we also don't mind paying for it. We just want to add something very professional to our site - perhaps a java chat software. They are so many out there and we are confused on which one to take. We would appreciate any comments.
I have seen and used the software at http://www.jpilot.com at several sites that I visit but I have never installed it personally. Also there is free site chat available from bravenet.com, I use their "recommendation script" at my site

I also just discovered the tools at http://www.onehead.com and they look pretty darn good. If anyone checks them out and implements them before I do, let me know what you think of them, I'll do the same.

Don't quote me on this but it looks like OneHead is using jIRC which was created by JPilot who you recommended above.
I recommend the chat software SitePoint use, click on the Chat button at the top of these forums or go to http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/chat.php3 to see it in action!
Thank you all for your responses. This has been very helpful.
Can anyone else also tell me how I can add a radio station to our site. I do not want to use the free sites that are out there because they have all their advertisments placed. Is there a software for this as well that we can purchase? Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Sites like NetRadio will private label content for a fee.
You need to contact their Business Development team, also known as Biz Dev.
Here is a head start for you:
bizfeedback@netradio.com
I know that in this day and age of email and feedback forms this sounds weird, but sometimes calling the company and asking who their their VP or Director of Business Development is, may still be the very best, and professional approach.
