    CSS problem with the hover

    A:hover{
    display:block;
    color: yellow;
    text-decoration: none;
    background: #006666;

    A.main:hover{
    color: orange;
    text-decoration: none;
    background:none;
    }
    I have two classes of hovers: the default and the class=main.
    Here's my problem. I put the display:block; in the default A:hover so that I would get backround changes filling an entire cell in my links.
    This is causing problems in A.main:hover where it is reading the display block tag. I need a way to neutalize the display:block in the A.main: hover.
    Any suggestions?
    thanks

    Code:
    A.main:hover{
    display: inline;
    color: orange;
    text-decoration: none;
    background: none;
    }
