Mask Problem

I cannot get this to properly mask for me
Click for problem I have the logo as layer on the bottom. then I have the logo on top with the vertical bar masked by the top logo. A screen shot of the timeline is included. What I dont understand is, is that the logo(image) is a transparent .png shouldnt the vertical white bar not bee seen when it goes in between letters or in the spaces between the football and the text?
What am I doing wrong?

Well, Flash doesn't mask through file format transparency. You have to convert the image to vector art and then anything that is a FILL will show through as "visible" in your mask.
