    email on website acting strangely

Hi i have just set up the emial on my friends website

You can see it here in the banner:

    http://www.solutionsinlaw.co.uk

The problem is it works fine on my computer. however when my friend clicks on it on her computer it just brings up a blank page with about:blank at the top (this is internet explorer)

Help! Can someone give me an idea of what maybe going wrong here?

    thank you,

Looks fine to me. Has she got her default mail client set? Sounds to me like the browser doen't know what to do with it.

The system needs to know which program to use in order to open the email with the address filled in.

    Does this help?

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/w...e-mail-program

Which version of IE and on which OS?

Yes, it does help thank you.

I think the point she is making is there is likely to be a lot of people who have not set up a default email and therefore if clicking the link would be sent to a page they didn't understand. Making contact would then be lost. whereas if the email wasnt a link they would just copy and paste into their email?

So I wonder what people think - is it better to have a clickable email or not?
