    Photoshop: "Splatter" effect?

I want to create a layout, but rather then just rounded edges, I want them to be like... "splattered". The following image gives you an idea of what I want to do:

If you know of any simple tutorials to acheive this 3d splatter affect, please let me know!

You can achieve fairly similar with PS's splattery type brushes and layer effects.
Forgive me if I'm going over anything you already know:

    (Using PS 6 here)
If you don't see the "spatter" brushes, load all of PS's available brushes into the palette.
Make a new layer with the brush strokes you want, then double-click the layer. "Bevel and Emboss" with the Contour sub-setting will get the 3d effect, Gradient and Color overlay may help you to get closer to the look you cited.

With that effect applied, you can smudge and add more brush strokes to the layer and they'll have the effect applied to them as well.

My first tutorial, hope it helps.

Looks like I have just about all the burshes (using photoshop 7), and I don't see any "splatter" brushes... closest I see are cloud-style...

The ones I'm referring to look like this:

I believe they're in "assorted brushes.abr" for PS6, dunno if that's changed in 7. If you have something else close to that, maybe you can get a similar effect smudging in some places and using small dot brushes around it.

This is what I did with the above brushes and the default bevel and emboss layer effects:

Same pic with different contours and a color overlay:

Some smudging and extra brush strokes, different color overlay:
