Egypt---- Inveded many times but still a place of historical values

Recently we went to Egypt ,the land of Pharaohs and spent 8 wonderful days visiting many places.
In spite of being invaded by Persians,Greeks, Romans,Caliphs, English(5 invaders), Egypt still retains its charm of being a
historical city with ancient monuments.Can someone tell me if there is any other country in this world,
that has been invaded so many times but still maintains its historical values?

You're right about Egypt. I can't think of any other countries.

How about Italy, or Greece? that is if you look into the classic imperioums... Old Persia, Mesopotamia (that is Iran, Irak, countries in Middle East)

But not only Italy and Greece keep their charm and their culture, many European countries do that (Spain included, of course)

No doubt Egypt is really a wonderful and ancient place. I think so India and China is the same.

I can't really speak about a country on this world but other planets I would have plenty of examples.
