sounds almost too good to be true... but extremely tempting, I haven't gotten setup with paysystems yet so no fees would be a nice thing.

Yes, that is very tempting. I haven't heard of them before though, so giving out my chequing account number and SSN makes me sceptical...

compare the offers from securenetshop to charge.com...
seem pretty similar, though i think charge.com gives a bit more detailed information... but just look at their price comparison charts... these two companies have either done their research at the same place and have had an uncanny coincidence in their wording, or they're using some sort of pre-made sales pitch. finding a processor that's actually its own company and not a reseller is becoming as sketchy as finding a true web host.

My merchant account, using authorize.net as a gateway, has just about the same rates quoted there.

And, I think you'll find that tomorrow the same offer will also expire in a day. And the next day.....

Just so you are aware in order to obtain a merchant account you are required to give them your EID or corporate ID number or your SSN.

I'd be wary of any merchant account provider that is offering "free e-mail marketing tools" as an incentive.

LOL. Kinda funny when a merchant account provider throws in spam tools to close the deal.

I'm putting together a quote and need to know how much to budget (roughly) for authorize.net. I tried to find prices online, but didn't see anything readily available. In your experience about how much can I expect to pay for it? Many monthly transactions - minimum order $60, but orders generally in the hundreds.

For setup Authorize.net will cost between $100 and $200 depending on who you go through.

Then you'll likely pay monthly fees of around $30 and per transaction fees of around 2% + $.25

Hi I visited authorize.net but I could not find any pricing there. They have a page that list the contact info of some resellers but I could not find one that lists any pricing neither (some don't even have a website), may I ask if anyone know any reseller have offer the best pricing? Thanks!

I am still comparing authorize.net with others.

    Hello CBR600 ...

I clicked on merchant bankcard.com & then did a few more clicks:
    http://www.merchantbankcard.com/othe...s&type=authnet
Merchant Commerce and Payment Services: http://merchantcommerce.net/services.php
    Merchant Express: http://www.merchantexpress.com/merch...ount_rates.htm
    Total Merchant Services: http://acceptcreditcards.com/MOTOAcc...AF181D61214947

Authorizenet.com is only the gateway. Most CC processors market themselves while this gateway markets itself in hopes that other processors will use it.
