    Looking for pics

I'm looking for some of the generic server type pictures of computers I can use on a site I am designing. My usual sources for photos is coming up empty and I'm having trouble finding some somewhere else. Any thoughts? TIA

Best thing I could recommend is this:
    • download and install the google toolbar for IE from toolbar.google.com
    • set toolbar options to include image search
    • then enter a search phrase, i.e. server picture
    • then click search images
this has been one of the best tools I've EVER used to find images on the web.

    The best for me are
    GettyImages -- http://gettyimages.com/
    Corbis -- http://www.corbis.com/
    And my own digicam.

If they're not your photos, you should pay for them through the proper chanels, esp. for a commercial website.

I'm curious, does it find images from all sites or does it only find free images?

I am fairly sure that the Images are from all sites, as there are all sorts of private sites listed (as with normal google searches). Try it without downloading the bar at Googel.com, there's an images tab.

I have used quite often and havn't found any "Pay for" images as I guess these sites use a "robot.txt" file to stop google going to that part of their site...

Be careful what you pinch though. Especially for a comercial site. My best pictures are always ones I have taken myself...
No matter how fool proof you make it, someone will always make a bigger fool.
